Saturday, April 17th was a day Jessica and Joshua had planned for quite some time. They gathered family and friends at the Norris Dam Tea Room where they pledged their love for one another and laughed and hugged and ate and rejoiced in a beautiful day. Jessica wrote a moving tribute to Joshua praising him for his love and loyalty and his willingness to love her and her daughters "til death parts them" as her entry into the first annual "Win a FREE Wedding Director" contest. It was a sweet, tender ceremony and a relaxed, warm reception - and I was blessed to be able to provide some professional direction, decorating tips, and Kristen and I even worked "KP Duty" serving the wedding guests homemade sandwiches, strawberries washed in the chocolate fountain and Jones soda with Jessica and Joshua labels. The contest judges couldn't have chosen a more deserving bride. The bride and groom had the Tea Room transformed into a citrus splash of warm oranges and sharp hot pinks that created a casually elegant affair where everyone in attendance had a wonderful time. Thank you again Jessica and Joshua - and congratulations and best wishes for a beautiful life together.
